Thanksgiving catch-up

So, I realized that I never got around to posting about Thanksgiving, and here it is Christmas already. Here’s a quick look back in pictures…

Alton Brown’s brined turkey has become a thanksgiving staple at our place. This was our third time making it and it’s so yummy I find myself craving it all year. The recipe is here.

We had a small turnout this year so I kept the table setting simple.

Notice the butter shaped like a turkey? I saw it at the grocery store and it followed me home.

the cranberry sauce looked better in the pot than in the bowl

Dessert was individual, deconstructed, apple pies. They were simple and tasted pretty decent, not sure I’d try them again though.  Recipe here.

our little turkey…(sorry babe)

chatting up the g’s just in time for Christmas…this girl knows how to work a room 🙂
